Cobra SUCKS!!!!!
I am so fed up with our insurance system. I have paid over $700 to Cobra for health coverage for April and May. They’ve had my money for almost a month now and I still can’t get my medicines covered!!!
Our money grubbing, big business driven society just lets people like me who are not able to work in their sweatshops any longer fall through the cracks and die. All the while, robbing us of what little money that we have left with false promises of coverage for our medical needs.
On top of the insurance premiums, which they have already cashed but not posted to my account, I’m having to pay outrageous amounts of money for life sustaining medicines, which are supposed to be covered by the insurance.
I’ve spent several hours this past week on the phone with the Deloitte U.S. Entities COBRA Administration and they assured me that everything had been taken care of and my coverage was in place. Yet, Donald and I spent over an hour at the pharmacy while the technician talked to United Health and Medco on the phone trying to get authorization for my meds, all to no avail. I expected better from Deloitte.
This is all absolutely ludicrous.

As we know - everything happens for a reason - we may not understand it now but the reason will shine soon enough! I have to agree that COBRA SUCKS but for whatever reason we were still able to afford and purchase his meds at this time. We hope that all will get worked out SOON so that no more stress with issues such as this will befall on MSBB!
